It seems someone in the background is giving Herman Cain a rough time. It's pretty much a given that there's a whole slew of PIs out there who's sole job is to dig up dirt on other people. Who'd all these ladies by coming out of the closet saying Cain touched them if he wasn't a Presidential candidate? Probably not. But we can't just assume these women are crying wolf. Society too often goes the route of galvanizing the victims in sexual crimes rather than looking the root cause-- demand.

So hopefully Cain gets out of his predicament through clear cut judicial processes. That's unlikely to happen. What will happen is that somewhere behind the scenes there will be a deal cut and then there will be another deal cut, money will exchange hands, and people will be kept silent.

No charges.

But the damage will have been done and there's no way to get around that.


But then again, look at Clinton and his current legacy.....

So who knows what will happen, but you can be pretty certain accusations or not, Cain was never going to win the Republican nomination.
