Economy Blame Dems or GOP?

Obama has inherited a terrible economy. I should say he's now working with a terrible economy, over two years into the 'new economic' plan America is no better off. In some cases we're worse off.

The debt is ballooning to unprecedented levels as Americans continue to busy themselves in the world's problems dumping billions of dollars overseas forgoing investment at home.

Whomever said wars are good for the economy should look at the decimation happening to the American system. 50% of tax dollars fuel the military.

But I digress.

Are we worse off because of Democrat policy?

Seems that way.

BUt think about it, economies aren't cars that you can stop and turn around. The Americans economy destroyed under Bush (maybe a bit of Clinton in there too for good measure) is like a rudderless cruise liner trying to make a U Turn. I might happen, but it's going to take some time.

Job creation is down, unemployment still high, deb tload in the trillions.

Thinks aren't great, but people still have hope. Hope that new policies, given time, will turn things around for good.

Of course, you're going to need more than 1 term to make it happen. 8 years we'll have to see. Yes, I think Obama is good for another 4. I can't imagine he'll lose to the morons currently vying for top GOP spot.

You're a fool when you think words are greater than action

Hey Todd Akin (R-MO) . Just because NBC omitted 'under God' does not mean they're of the devil or emblematic of a deeper evil.

Ain says, “at the heart of liberalism is really a hatred of God“. I say, "what have you done lately".

AKIN: This was something that was done systematically, it was done intentionally, and is tremendously corrosive in terms of all of the values and everything that’s made America unique and such a special nation.
PERKINS: Why would NBC do this?
AKIN: Well, I think NBC has a long record of being very liberal and at the heart of liberalism really is a hatred for God and a belief that government should replace God. And so they’ve had a long history of not being at all favorable toward many of things that have been such a blessing to our country…This is a systematic effort to try to separate our faith and God, which is a source in our belief in individual liberties, from our country. And when you do that you tear the heart out of our country.

Some so called Christians like to police the airwaves pointing out the power of words.

Who cares? Since when (assuming NBC was the enemy) is attacking someone's expression (in this case a harmless edit) constitute loving thy enemy?

And by the way, the loudest proponents to all things Republican (taxation, social services, immigration, censorship) are the last ones to be contributors to the improvement of their communities.

How about that, so close yet so far. Squeaky wheel that's trying desperately hard to look good but in actuality doesn't do anything.

If you really want to change American don't worry about the media, worry about how well your love your neighbor.
